It's For the Birds

This project was done as a Birthday present for a very good friend, who LOVES comic books. Each panel was individually cut to fit the bird house. I alternated between single hero shots and group shots. Once full covered the piece was given 3 coats of polyurethane.

I'm very proud of this piece, and it didn't take me as long as it has in the past. I think I got my grove down. The hardest part is honestly finding the images for me. I'm planning on creating some more, but currently I have three pieces of art work to work on for Loki's bedroom.

Shazam!

Finally started my next project. This is a shelf unit for a children's bedroom. The pieces make a grid and slip together. I'm covering it with kids comic books. I'll keep you posted.
